Team athlete Henrik Kristoffersen's pro model. The Trooper SL Team Edition (TE) is a Slalom race helmet built on the proven Trooper construction. With its Thermoplastic Laminated Carbon Fiber (TLC) construction, our 2-piece Shell construction and the unique "Impact Shields" liner, this is one of the most advanced Helmets on the market offering optimal protection performance. The provided steel chinguard is removable and adjustable in height. This model is equipped with MIPS, a technology that reduces rotational forces.
Technology:
Thermoplastic Laminated Carbonfiber (TLC) combines the elasticity of injection-molded thermoplastic with the rigidity and strength of carbon fiber. It enables us to very effectively tune the shell for different properties in different areas for optimized performance.
Impact shields features a molded shock absorbing EPS liner with inserts that provide unsurpassed performance for shock absorbance. This is our premium impact protection technology. It distributes impacts from the inside of the helmet over large areas in the crucial front and back zones where your head needs it.
The MIPS Brain Protection System is a helmet-integrated, low-friction layer designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head. Brain injuries originate not only from direct impacts to the head, but also from rotational forces resulting from impacts occurring at an angle. The MIPS technology is scientifically proven to reduce rotational motion by absorbing and redirecting rotational energies and forces transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head
