Introducing the Rooster Discesa, a racing helmet engineered to meet the new FIS racing standard and the demands of the world's best alpine racers. Sharing many of the same features as the Rooster Corsa Collectors Edition, the Rooster Discesa is designed and engineered with heart, talent and attitude in Norway, and hand crafted and honed with passion and pride by the best and most dedicated technicians in Italy. The helmet is baked to perfection in an autoclave, using the same technique used making Formula-1 cars. Utilizing our very own CRP SHELL TECHNOLOGY – AUTOCLAVED, which provides an incredible strength to weight ratio, rigidity and impact performance, along with our Impact Shield Technology, an advanced shock absorbing impact shield EPS liner. We have also added MIPS, the Multidirectional Impact Protection System. Additional features include detachable earpads for emergency situations, ear vents for hearing and a Coolmax Liner.
Technology:
Impact shields - A shock absorbing, molded EPS liner with Impact Shield inserts that provide unsurpassed performance for low volume shock absorbance, throughout a wide temperature range.
MIPS - Multi-direction impact protection system - A unique technology developed to reduce brain injuries, setting a new standard in helmet safety.
CRP shell technology - Provides an incredible strength to weight ratio, rigidity and impact performance. By carefully laminating fibers with different properties and directions, we are able to create a super light, optimized helmet shell.
Comfort and fit:
Coolmax one piece liner - Anti-allergic, moisture wicking, removable/washable and provides great comfort in a wide range of temperatures.
Artificial micro fur - A comfortable and warm micro fur featured on selected ear pads and comfort liners.
Fitpads - Place as you please, for the ultimate personalized fit.
