What is a HandiKart?
Brand new for 2010 the HandiKart is set to revolutionise the way
that paddle sports equipment is transported to the water’s edge.
Stylish, versatile, and easy to use the new HandiKart
from HandiWorld sets new standards for the transportation of kayaks
& canoes. Light, but rugged, the HandiKart makes the transfer of
equipment from the car to the water’s edge undemanding and effortless.
Furthermore, the HandiKart folds up into a compact shape that is easily
stowed in the kayak or canoe and can be quickly dismantled for when
space is really at a premium.
Devised and developed in the UK and under licence from Fillaball
Ltd, the unique and patented Camba hemi-spherical wheel technology that
drives the HandiKart offers further benefits to the paddle sports
enthusiast. It combines a hemi-spherical wheel with inclined axles to
provide all terrain access with the additional benefit of an element of
intuitive resistance and braking. The Camba wheel also features an
active variable footprint (AVF) whereby the point of contact on hard
surfaces is optimised and the wheel intuitively adapts to softer
surfaces (such as sand) to create a wider footprint. It’s all in the
geometry.
