Now that you’ve got this expensive SLR case you of course want to just
seize every opportunity to use it whether on land or underwater to take
those photos of the moments and sights you want to cherish. There is
that one problem though - water, sand and dirt always seem to get in
the way in the great outdoors. These elements do not do well with any
equipment and your expensive SLR is certainly no exception. To
be able to enjoy your camera and your photographic activity to the
fullest wherever you go, Aquapac provides that added protection against
these hated substance that can just about ruin your camera and all
those beautiful photos as well as allow you to go beyond the once
forbidden - to take photos underwater safely. With this
professionally tested and guaranteed 100% waterproof case you can
actually maneuver the controls through the case and focus the lens
protected by its hard lens housing. Who wants to risk having their
expensive equipment fall overboard without being protected? Makes a perfect gift for outdoor use.
Details:
- You can take great photographs right through the hard lens tube (see below). Even underwater.
- PLEASE NOTE: The hard lens is permanently attached to the case and cannot be removed.
- The SLR Camera Case (code 455) is compatible with most SLR type cameras.
- It’ll float with your camera in it.
- It’s guaranteed submersible to 15 feet (5 metres).
- The UV-stabilized TPU material won’t be broken down or discoloured by sunlight.
- It keeps out dust and sand too. They’re a particular problem for cameras (just ask the repairman at your local camera store).
Supplied with:
- It comes with an adjustable and detachable shoulderstrap so you can hang it round your neck or shoulder.
- It
comes with a packet of 5 re-usable, re-indicating desiccant sachets.
These will help absorb any condensation in the air inside the case. If
you know you’re going to be taking it somewhere particularly humid like
Jacksonville or the jungle, you’d be well advised to buy a few extra
packets.
How have you improved this case recently?
2008 sees us going ’100% PVC-Free’. Our new material (TPU) offers a number of advantages:
- It’s softer and more malleable. Making it even easier to operate your camera controls through the material.
- The case now comes with a hard lens tube to provide a rigid house for the lens and allow more professional photography.
- It’ll perform much better if you want to take it somewhere really cold. It’ll still be soft and malleable at -40º and below.
- It has a greater tensile strength, meaning it’s even more difficult to tear or rip apart.
