NOTHING STAYS AS IT WAS
The same applies to sport. New skis and boots have conquered the market and runs are generally made at higher speeds. Even the style of skiing has changed. Alpine skiers today make greater demands of their materials than they did a few years ago. That is why new binding systems are also needed as a central link between the equipment
THE ANSWER: DIAMIR EAGLE
The answer to the new challenges in the world
of ski touring is the Diamir Eagle. This binding achieves what no other has managed to do up
to now: it combines maximum walking comfort and stability without the slightest compromise on safety. And in relation to its high performance, the Diamir Eagle is light as well.
With the Diamir Eagle, walking and ascending is more natural and safer than ever before - even under extreme conditions. The secret is the newly developed Diamir Gliding Technology. Thanks to this technical innovation, optimal walking comfort and great safety are no longer a contradiction.
NATURAL ROLL-OFFThe Diamir Gliding Technology makes it possible to construct the binding with an optimally placed rotation point. Because this allows the foot to roll off naturally, walking comfort is substantially enhanced. A moving base plate guarantees complete freedom of movement, even in extreme situations where the natural walking angle is exceeded. At the same time, the Diamir Gliding Technology allows integration of the latest safety features.
ACTIVE SAFETYWith the Diamir Gliding Technology, the safety features can be fully integrated into the binding. The Diamir Eagle offers an active safety release, because the binding is equipped with a rotating toe piece including a separate spring assembly. This meets the standards of a high-end alpine binding. The long elasticity and restoring forces of the springs reduce the risk of unintentional releases to a minimum. This is very important, particularly on uneven ground and in deep snow.
TÜV & DIN ISO NORMSDurable quality due to premium materials and meticulous workmanship: Diamir binding systems are TÜV certified and fulfil the DIN ISO norms 13992 and 9462 for touring and alpine bindings, as well as for touring ski boots according to DIN ISO 9523 alpine ski boots according to DIN ISO 5355.
